How Much Does SEO Cost in Dubai? Pricing Models Explained [2026]
By Sahil Sheoran, ApexFlow Digital
SEO in Dubai is usually priced as a monthly retainer, a fixed project, or a hybrid. The number matters less than what it covers, how it is measured and how easy it is to leave. This guide explains the models and the factors that move the price.
The three common pricing models
Monthly retainer. Most agencies work this way because SEO is ongoing: technical fixes, content, local profile work and reporting. Retainers usually scale with the number of pages, locations and languages involved.
Fixed project. A one-off audit, site migration or location-page build with a defined deliverable list. Good when you have an internal team that can carry on afterwards.
Hybrid. A setup fee for the foundation work (tracking, technical fixes, profile set-up) followed by a smaller monthly fee. This is how our own local SEO module is published: a monthly fee plus a one-time setup, with 30 days’ notice to cancel. Current figures are on the packages page.
What drives the price
- Scope: one location or several, English only or English and Arabic, one service or many.
- Competition: “dental clinic Dubai Marina” is a different fight from a niche B2B service.
- Starting point: a site with technical problems or no tracking needs foundation work first.
- Content volume: how many service, location and article pages are needed and who writes them.
- Reporting and meetings: weekly calls and custom dashboards cost more than a monthly summary.
What should be included
- A written audit with priorities, not just a score from a tool.
- Search Console and Google Analytics set up with lead events tracked.
- Google Business Profile work for local businesses: categories, services, photos, reviews process.
- Page-level plans: one primary query per page, titles and descriptions, internal links.
- Monthly reporting on impressions, clicks, positions and enquiries, not only traffic.
Red flags
- A guaranteed ranking or a guaranteed number of page-one keywords. Nobody controls Google.
- Long lock-in contracts with no exit and no ownership of your accounts and content.
- Reports that show keyword counts but no enquiries.
- Bulk links from directories or networks, which can harm a site.
- No mention of tracking leads, only traffic.
Questions to ask before you sign
- What exactly is delivered in month one, month three and month six?
- Who owns the Search Console, Analytics and Business Profile accounts?
- How will we measure success in enquiries, not just rankings?
- Can you show an example report and a relevant case study with the client’s permission?
- What are the notice period and exit terms?
How long until results
Technical and on-page fixes can show up in weeks. Competitive terms usually take months and depend on links, reviews and proof. Any agency that gives a precise date is guessing.
